Qatar: Qatari lender Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) has reported an 8% increase in its net profit for the first quarter to QR131.5m, compared with the same quarter in 2012. Total assets grew by 28% to QR34.4bn from QR26.8bn as at the end of March last year. Deposits also saw a 43% year-on-year growth to QR17.3bn, the bank said. [AMEInfo.com]
