IMF says Qatar's 2012 outlook positive but growth will slow

Qatar: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said the overall outlook for the Qatari economy is positive, although growth is expected to slow next year, with an increased risk of lower oil and gas prices due to weaker global demand, Reuters has reported. "The economic outlook for 2012 remains positive, despite increased external risks. Real gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate is projected to moderate to 6 per cent in 2012," the IMF said.
