Qatar: Qatar Steel has raised its stake in Saudi Arabia's South Steel, from 20.9% to 29.74%, Gulf Times has reported. Located in Jazan Economic Area, South Steel comprises an integrated steel melting complex, with a capacity of 1mn tonnes per year of steel billets and 500,000 tpy of steel reinforcement bars.
