Qatar: The Qatar Exchange 20 Index fell 0.60% on Sunday, closing at 9,424.41 points after Saudi shares posted on Saturday their worst trading session in a year. Shares of Ooredoo (formerly Qatar Telecom) ended down 0.16% at QR124.80. Earlier on Saturday, Ooredoo said it pulled out of the bidding race to take over French telecom firm Vivendi's 53 percent stake in Maroc Telecom, leaving Abu Dhabi-based Etisalat as the sole bidder.
