Qatar: Qatar has started enforcing new standards for importing electrical appliances into the country, Gulf Times has reported. According to the new standards and regulations, set by the environment ministry, the voltage for household electrical ovens, toasters and extension power strips should be 240, with 50 hertz frequency.
