Qatar: Qatar's New Port Project Steering Committee has awarded Hyundai Engineering and Construction a $300.82m contract to build a port and related facilities in the country after forming a consortium with the Middle East unit of Boskalis, a Netherlands-based company, and Brazilian firm OAS, Korea Joongang Daily has reported. Hyundai will build port facilities and an access channel at Qatar Economic Zone 3, which will be 25km south from Doha. The project is slated for completion within 30 months. [AMEInfo.com]
